I’m a photographer of 7 years, from the gorgeous Niagara region of Canada. I traded wineries & waterfalls for white sand & emerald water. I moved to Florida’s Emerald Coast—where my love for photography came rushing back like a wave. I’m here to capture all your life moments, big, small, sparkly, sandy, and everything in between. I’m obsessed with the beach, coastal sunsets, and turning everyday memories into magic.

My approach
I’m originally from a small town just north of Toronto, Ontario (Canada, eh!), and in 2025 my husband and I finally made our long-planned move to Florida. After years of preparation, we’re here—and absolutely loving the beach life. Being on the Emerald Coast has inspired me in so many ways, one of which was reigniting my passion for photography. And just like that… Koa Kai Photography was born!
Where does the name come from? My kids! Inspired by Hawaii, we named our two amazing little ones Koa and Kailea—and they’re the heartbeat behind this brand.
Photography first became a passion when I started documenting every moment of my kids’ lives. That love naturally grew into focusing on LOVE + LIFESTYLE photography, with an emphasis on genuine, unscripted, beautifully authentic moments.
I’ve always loved both art and people, and photography became the perfect blend of the two. Capturing the stories of my clients—on their most meaningful days—is nothing short of magical.
